About
Annick Rauch is the author of PheMOMenal Teacher: Pursue Your Dreams and still Be Your Best Self at Work and at Home. She is a passionate grade 1 French immersion teacher who began her teaching career in 2009. She was chosen as an inaugural educator to open École Sage Creek School where she continues to teach today. She prides herself on developing relationships with students in order to create a classroom community where everyone encourages, supports, and challenges one another. She incorporates students’ interests and passions into their learning and truly loves what she does.
Outside of school, Annick is a very busy mom. She and her husband Chris have four energetic boys: Caden, Emmett, Brooks, and Brecken, who all play a variety of sports. They also have a silver lab named Ellie, who is thoroughly convinced she is the fifth child. Annick loves to go camping with her family, and she also makes it a priority to carve out time for trips with friends.
Although busy, Annick doesn’t let that stop her from pursuing her dreams outside of her work and home life. She is an avid runner with several half marathons under her belt. She blogs at annickrauch.ca and is a frequent contributor and collaborator with the education community on social media. She is a lifelong learner who continues to follow her passions.
